Yes, it's true, Ricky Gervais is back for the 69th Golden Globe Awards...... and I can't wait. He is easily one of my favorite comedians, I loved him last year and I have no doubts about his performance this Sunday. Especially because of the fact that he told Piers Morgan that this would be his last time hosting the event. But you never know, maybe he'll have too much fun to let go! What do you guys think about his last performance, I know a lot of people who weren't too pleased at the jibes.

TV Shows: Sherlock
Well all I can do is take an over dramatic sigh and say FINALLY! Airing in September 2010, the always brilliant BBC series Sherlock is finally back! The first of three episodes aired January 1st and I have only just had a chance to watch it. When I found out that Steven Moffat was writing the first episode I was ecstatic, mostly because he was credited with writing my favorite episode from the first series, A Study In Pink. A Scandal in Belgravia was no exception, Moffat does a good job of keeping you guessing until the end, I encourage everyone to watch it! And lets be honest for a second Benedict Cumberpatch is extremely entertaining. Check out the first episode below!Monday, December 19, 2011

TV Shows: Shameless
Last January I fell in love with the new Showtime program, Shameless. When first hearing about the US adaption of the widely loved UK original series, I was upset, thinking that the former wouldn't be able to hold a candle to the latter. I was wrong however, the show, for me at least was a huge success. Led by the absolutely fabulous William H. Macy, the cast invites you into this world of utter chaos, family disfunction and somehow, love. While still keeping true to the characters, there are some major differences. But to me the transfer has been seamless, unlike other UK to US remakes such as MTV's Skins. In fairness MTV was obviously not the best choice for the program, they might have had a fighting chance if they had had free reign like the writers of Shameless. Here's a look at the upcoming Season 2, which premiers January 8th! Thursday, September 22, 2011
Mad Men Mania
I recently started watching Mad Men now that it's on Watch Instantly on Netflix, and I have become completely addicted. I have fallen in love with the sassy Joan, and the always dapper Don, and find myself constantly surprised by the never ending plot twists. While the show is still placed firmly in reality, there are often moments that have my jaw dropping. If you are not already on the Mad Men train, with the last season about to begin, I suggest you start.
